Though he always loved to cook, Anthony Jackson (Culinary, ‘13) earned a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and spent three years working in public relations before taking the leap to pursue food on a professional level. His culinary education at ICE and his writing background led him to a job that combines all of his talents as Padma Lakshmi’s chief of staff.

The Ģ����Ƶ's New York campus resumed classes in Brookfield Place on Aug. 11 in conjunction with phase 4 of New York City's reopening plan.

Our 2014 Cake Techniques & Design class is now nearing the end, and I must that I am very impressed with how much my classmates and I have learned and grown as individuals. It helps that we’ve been learning under the watchful eye of Chef Cynthia Peithman and Chef Lyndsay Busanich, both of whom are amazing instructors. I came into the program with virtually no knowledge of cake, and just midway through the program, I won second place in my very first cake show competition: The Second Annual N.Y. Cake Show 2014.
